No fee to participate but we encourage donations & fundraising for your plunge!
This year’s plunge will raise funds for the Coney Island community to create a more sustainable and cleaner environment as well as improve quality of life for residents.
Funds raised will support workforce development programs for local residents to connect them to job opportunities and neighborhood services, as well as help increase their advocacy for clean water and educate the public about waste.
ALL PARTICIPANTS receive free admission to the NY Aquarium and many more rewards for taking part in the fundraiser.
Bring warm clothes, surf boots or old sneakers, towels and definitely bring your camera! The NYC Parks Department provides changing facilities on the Boardwalk at Stillwell Avenue.
You must be at least 18 years old to register online. For individuals under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian at the event to register.
